about

Voilaaa did not sleep around during lockdown with a brand new three tracks EP paying tribute to Manu Dibango, one of Voilaaa’s main inspirations. They just could not stay without reacting!

« Manu Écoute Ça… » and « Tenor Jam for Manu » are two totally assumed tributes to the great Soul Makossa who changed modern music for ever, featuring Boris Pokora on Tenor Saxophone. As the lyrics mention it, the Lion Manu is dead but he left behind him a legacy of musicians forever inspired by his work.
On « LIMYÈ-A », David Walters joins the regular Voilaaa singers crew Pat Kalla & Lass for an exclusive latin track.

As you may know Voilaaa is one of the many projects of Lyon-based Bruno Hovart aka Patchworks. Exploring African and World Music’s sonic heritage, Voilaaa never fails to deliver dance music floor fillers!
